Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for inexpensively manufacturing a stretchable nonwoven fabric having good touch, high stretchability and high air permeability by a simple process.
SOLUTION: In the manufacturing method for the stretchable nonwoven fabric, at first, an elastomer film is laminated on the nonwoven fabric by a melt lamination method to obtain the composite sheet. Subsequently, the composite sheet is interposed between both members of a drilling device equipped with receiving members having a large number of stripe grooves arranged thereto in many rows and drill members wherein drilling pins capable of being penetrated in the strip gooves are arranged at the position corresponding to the stripe grooves in many rows. The drilling pins are allowed to penetrate in the respective stripe grooves not only to drill the composite sheet to form a large number of openings arranged in many rows but also to stretch the nonwoven fabric at the positions between the opening rows to plastically deform the same.
