Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a manufacturing method of a surface sizing agent capable of exhibiting more excellent sizing effects, the surface sizing agent manufactured by the manufacturing method and paper obtained by using the surface sizing agent manufactured by the manufacturing method.SOLUTION: There is provided a manufacturing method of a surface sizing agent obtained by emulsification polymerizing a polymerization component (A) containing styrenes and (meth)acrylic acid esters, including emulsification polymerizing the polymerization component (A) in a solution containing starches (B) and polyamine polyamide resin (C) and the percentage content of the polyamino amide resin (C) is 5 mass% to 50 mass% based on total amount of the starches (B) and the polyamino amide resin (C).SELECTED DRAWING: None
