Abstract:
To provide a manufacturing method of a thermal recording material excellent in recording sensitivity, printing image quality and printability.
In the manufacturing method of the thermal recording material the support of which sequentially has an anchor layer containing plastic hollow particles, an undercoat layer containing an oil absorbing pigment of an oil absorption (JIS K 5101) of 40-120 ml/100 g, and a thermal recording layer containing a leuco dye and a developer, the anchor layer and the undercoat layer are formed by applying a coating liquid for the anchor layer and a coating liquid for the undercoat layer by a simultaneous multilayer curtain coating method, and drying.
