Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for manufacturing a thermoelectric conversion material which is industrially advantageous and superior in thermoelectric characteristic, and is made of CoO-based layered oxide.SOLUTION: A method for manufacturing a thermoelectric conversion material comprises: a slurry preparation step for preparing a raw material slurry including tabular crystal of calcium cobaltate expressed by the general formula (1), CaMCoMO, a bismuth compound, a calcium compound, and a cobalt compound; a sheet-shaping step for shaping the raw material slurry into a sheet, thereby preparing a raw material sheet including the tabular crystal of the calcium cobaltate expressed by the general formula (1), a bismuth compound, a calcium compound, and a cobalt compound; a lamination step for laminating the raw material sheet, thereby preparing a raw material sheet laminate; and a sintering step for sintering the raw material sheet laminate, thereby obtaining the thermoelectric conversion material including a composite oxide expressed by the following general formula (2): BiCaMCoMO.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
