Abstract:

To provide a manufacturing method for a thermoelectric module and a manufacturing jig for a thermoelectric module wherein a damage such as chipping, splitting and the like of a thermoelectric element member is reduced in a process for arraying a thermoelectric element.

A plurality of rod-like thermoelectric elements are arrayed in 2 dimension so that they extend parallel to each other while separating from adjoining ones by a first interval, to form an element array. Then, a plurality of element arrays are stacked in 3 dimension so that they extend parallel to each other while separating from adjoining arrays by a second interval, to form an element laminated body. The provided element laminated body is integrally molded with an insulating tight-fitting material, which is cut in the direction orthogonal to the lengthwise direction of the thermoelectric element member to form thermoelectric element chips. Electrodes are formed on the cut surfaces of both front and rear sides of the thermoelectric element chip in a specified arrangement, to provide a thermoelectric module.
