PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for manufacturing a toner for electrostatic charge image development with which a printed matter with a high image density is obtained.SOLUTION: A method for manufacturing a toner for electrostatic charge image development includes a step of aggregating and fusing particles including resin particles and colorant particles in an aqueous medium; the resin particle contains a composite resin containing a polyester segment, an addition polymerization resin segment that is an addition polymer of a raw material monomer containing a styrene compound, and a unit derived from a bireactive monomer; the colorant particle is obtained by mixing colorant and a compound represented by the formula (1).SELECTED DRAWING: None
