To provide a manufacturing method of a toothed belt for manufacturing a plurality of different kinds of belts, each differing in size (the number of teeth), using one kind of mold for sleeve forming.
First, a semi-vulcanized sleeve formed by using a mold with a plurality of groove parts on the outer peripheral surface, is cut helically, and a long belt 13 with both ends cut apart is formed. Then this long belt 13 is wound around a plurality of toothed pulleys while the long belt is brought into close contact with each other in the width direction. Thus an array of juxtaposed belt windings is obtained. In this case, the number of the tooth parts arranged on the inner surface of the array of juxtaposed belt windings is adjusted by regulating the length of the winding of the long belt 13 to the teethed pulleys. After that, the array of the juxtaposed belt windings is vulcanized into an integrated long belt 13. Consequently, the vulcanized sleeve 15 is prepared and cut to a specified width to obtain the toothed belt 1.
