To provide a manufacturing method of a V-belt which prevents the bleeding of a rubber to the base of a belt and suppresses the occurrence of an allophane or drive force during running.
The manufacturing method of the V-belt of which the base is constituted of canvas has a process (1) of forming rubbered canvas 14 by bonding a rubber sheet 14b to a canvas 14a by coating one side of the canvas 14a with a rubber composition of which the Mooney viscosity at 100°C is 50-80, a process (2) of forming an unvulcanized belt sleeve 11 wherein the rubbered canvas 14 is arranged so as to be applied to the coated surface of the canvas, that is, bonded to an unvulcanized compression rubber sheet 17 to which the rubber sheet 14b is applied and a process (3) of vulcanizing the unvulcanized belt sleeve to form a vulcanized belt sleeve.
