Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a manufacturing method for preventing the following issues: scale is formed in a connection piping of a polymerization reactor for manufacturing vinyl chloride resin, the piping is blocked while the scale is growing and a polymerization process is disturbed, especially reaction control becomes difficult when a safety valve connection piping is blocked, therefore each connection piping should be decomposed periodically and inside should be cleaned, and there is possibility that vinyl chloride monomer gas is discharged outside the system at this time and this is not preferable.SOLUTION: Each connection piping of an upper part of a polymer reactor is collected, a nitrogen piping 21 is connected to the connection piping 20 and nitrogen of piping volume is sealed. Thereby vinyl chloride monomer gas which is a causative material for scale formation can be pushed back from the connection piping 20 to the polymerization reactor and scale formation can be prevented.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
