Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing a vinyl chloride-based resin sheed containing a polymerization initiator when a vinyl chloride paste is produced that can greatly shorten a polymerization time when the vinyl chloride paste is produced, in which the obtained vinyl chloride paste has less variation of viscosity with time of the vinyl chloride paste prepared by dispersed in a plasticizer, is excellent in mechanical strength at the time of low-temperature working, and has excellent characteristics as a coat material, in particular, an automobile under body coat material and a sealant material for automobile.SOLUTION: A method for producing a vinyl chloride-based resin seed includes: adding and mixing a vinyl chloride monomer, an emulsifier, a polymerization initiator and a chain transfer agent to an aqueous medium to perform homogenization treatment; and then polymerizing the resultant substance to produce a polymerization initiator-containing vinyl chloride-based resin seed, where 4-10 pts.wt. of the polymerization initiator is used with respect to 100 pts.wt. of the vinyl chloride monomer, and 0.5-5 pts.wt. of the emulsifier is added after the end of polymerization reaction.SELECTED DRAWING: None
