In production of the weather strip having a clip mounting face 20a and a tape mounting face 20b, the weather strip 10 is formed by extrusion molding, and the clip 40 is stuck to the clip mounting face 20a. Then, the weather strip is joined in loop form by die molding, and the heat-seal type double-sided adhesion tape 50 is stuck to the tape mounting face 20b in the joined weather strip. In this process, using a sticking device having a heating means 68 heating the tape mounting face 20b and a heat sealing layer 58 in the double-sided adhesion tape and a pressure roller 60 pressing the heated and melted heat sealing layer 58 to the tape mounting face 20b, the double-sided adhesion tape 50 is stuck to the tape mounting face 20b by heat sealing while the heating means 68 and the pressure roller 60 are moved along the circumference direction of the weather strip.
