Abstract:
To provide a novel welded member manufacturing method that suppresses delayed fracture of a weld zone due to projection welding.SOLUTION: A welded member manufacturing method, in which a work-piece configured from a high tensile material and a weldment object are welded, comprises: a process in which the work-piece and the weldment object are welded so that a plurality of weld zones are formed between the work-piece and the weldment object by performing projection welding; and a process in which a cancelling stress is given to the welded member after projection welding so as to cancel a stress that is generated in the plurality of welded zones after projection welding and so acts as to pull the plurality of weld zones in mutually approaching direction.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
