Abstract:

To provide a manufacturing method of a wheel for an automobile remarkably reducing the number of processes, simplifying a manufacturing mechanism, and extremely improving productivity and a yield.

The manufacturing method of the alloy wheel for an automobile comprising a rim part 16 and a disk part 18 coupled in an interior of the rim part 16 comprises a stage of obtaining a cup shaped preform 28 by forging a rim material, a stage of obtaining a seamless pipe 20 by conducting fluid forming on the preform 28, a stage of obtaining a unit pipe 21 by cutting the seamless pipe 20, a stage of forming a preformed unit pipe 21' by conducting primary roll forming on the unit pipe 21, a stage of forming the rim part 16 of a final shape by conducting secondary roll forming on the preformed unit pipe 21', and a stage of conducting shrinkage fitting on the rim part 16 and the disk part 18 and welding them by a laser using a welding jig.
