PURPOSE: To simplify a press-fitting process by press-fitting a yoke with an outer ring fitted onto an external end of a plastic pipe to fasten the pipe tightly by the outer ring.

CONSTITUTION: A close-fitting portion 2a of a yoke 2 is press-fitted to a pipe 1 with a metallic outer ring 3 fitted onto an external end of a FRP pipe 1 to connect the outer ring 3 to the yoke 2 so that they can be turned together. Namely, the external surfaces of the pipe 1 is made smoothly and fitted closely into the outer ring, the serration 4 of the outer ring is engaged with the serration 6 of the yoke. Thus, the pipe is fastened by the outer ring at the same time when the yoke is press-fitted to simplify the press-fitting process and prevent the press-fitting force from being lowered due to creeping, etc.
