To provide a technique capable of merging a link map and a lane map even when a position of a connection point of a road section is deviated.SOLUTION: A map data processing system is for acquiring a link map indicating a link network, and a lane map indicating a lane network, associating information indicating a lane configuration being indicated by the lane map with each link indicated by the link map and recording them. The map data processing system comprises a link data processing part for, when there is a link of a first road section in an overlap section which is between a position of a connection point indicated by the link map and a position of a connection point indicated by the lane map, and there are a lane configuration of a second road section and a lane configuration of a third road section, associating a flag indicating a fact that, information indicating the lane configuration of the overlap section is associated not with the link of the first road section but with the link of the second road section and the link of the third road section, and is recorded, with the link of the first road section to be recorded.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
