Abstract:
To appropriately determine whether a vehicle is needed to stop or not at a traffic intersection in accordance with situations.SOLUTION: A map data structure includes: identification information of a traffic intersection; and traffic intersection data associated with location information of the traffic intersection. The location information of the traffic intersection is specified by a positional coordinate of a stop line existing in the traffic intersection. In reference to the traffic intersection data, a driving support device determines whether a vehicle needs to be stopped at the stop line existing in the traffic intersection.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
