PURPOSE: To facilitate rescue activity by inputting way points on a map in an analog way without using a numerical value, or performing hovering directly above victim person, and notifying the latitude and the longitude measured with a GPS to searching persons.
CONSTITUTION: A cursor switch 10 is operated, and both X and Y cursor lines are moved. The moved distances are measured with an X-direction counter 11 and a Y-direction counter 12. The intersections of both cursor lines are positioned at the objective way point on an expanded map. The counter values of the intersections X and Y undergo XY/latitude.longitude conversion 13, and the latitude/lontidude are displayed 14. The symbols of the way points are displayed at the intersections X and Y. After the numerical values of the display device 14 and the intersections of the cursor lines are confirmed, a way-point setting switch 15 is pushed and registered in a way-point memory 16. Thus, the input mistake is avoided. Hovering is performed directly over a victim person on the sea or one the mountain without a target. The position of own aircract measured with the GPS is inputted with an ivent-mark input means.
