The map indicating/device (15) which receives and displays a map data from the information center (10) comprises a storage means of storing map data; a transmission means of transmitting a destination to the information center; a reception means of receiving a retrieved route, based on the destination transmitted from the information center; a determination means of determining whether there is any new constructed road, included in the received route by comparison a road contained in the received route, with a road of the map data stored in the storage means. When it determines that there is a new constructed road by the determination means, a notification means which reports this new constructed road.
