PURPOSE: To obtain the map information display device on which a map and a space can easily be matched with each other by making a display so that map information or direction and distance information on a destination matches with actual space arrangement at all times among center coordinates matching the travel direction of a moving body.

CONSTITUTION: A position information arithmetic part 2 reads the map information out with set initial information, uses an own-center coordinate system whose origin or fixed point is aligned with the current place of the moving body and whose travel direction is matched with a vertical axis, and performs arithmetic for parallel movement or rotary movement so that the map information match with the actual space arrangement at all times on the own-center coordinate system, thereby displaying the map information after the arithmetic at a display part 6.
