Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a map information processing device capable of using, in common, information notifying the service start or stop of a road whose service is planned to start or stop, independently of map data creation time.SOLUTION: Using update information having an invariable update road group identifier provided to each update road group composed of roads whose service is planned to start or stop in map data indicating a map divided by mesh and information indicating that the service of the roads in the update road group specified by the update road group identifier has started or stopped, the update road group corresponding to the update road group identifier is specified from roads indicated by the map data acquired by a map data acquisition unit 9 on the basis of association information in which the update road group identifier is associated with roads indicated by the map data, and service information of the roads in the update road group is updated on the basis of the update information.
