Patent Searching and Data

Title:
MAPPING PROCESSOR
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPS62156775
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:
PURPOSE:To always obtain a stable phis profile when the mapping is given to a phi-s space by using a point which is distant from a noticed point. CONSTITUTION:The horizontal light is radiated to a subject from a projector and a TV camera 1 photographs a line crossing the subject and sends a 2-dimensional picture to a mapping processor 16 in the form of a bright line. A host computer 4 measures the 3-dimensional coordinates of each point on said crossing line. In this case, the 3-dimensional coordinates are obtained for the image point on the image pickup surface of the camera 1 by the ocellated 3-dimensional viewing theory for calculation of all image points on the crossing line. Each of the data on the xy coordinate system forming the cross lines is converted into the phis coordinate before collation of data in order to avoid the effects of the parallel shifts or rotations in a 3-dimensional space. When the mapping is given to a phi-s space, an optional point Pk of a spot train 20 on an image 21 of the crossing line is noticed and both points Pk+d and Pk-d distant away from each other by a fixed distance are used for mapping.
