Abstract:

To provide an improved method of broadcasting broadcast system information.

A transmitter maps first system information including a master information block of a broadcast control logic channel to a broadcast transport channel, maps second system information including a system information block of the broadcast control logic channel to a shared transport channel, transmits the first system information through the broadcast transport channel to a receiver, and transmits the second system information through the shared transport channel. The receiver includes an acquisition unit for receiving the first system information from the transmitter through the broadcast transport channel, receiving the second system information from the transmitter through the shared transport channel, acquiring the first system information, and acquiring the second system information.
