Abstract:
To provide a maraging steel strip for a steel belt having an excellent fatigue strength property with the acceptance of the presence of inclusions to some degree.
In the maraging steel strip for the steel belt containing ≤ 13 ppm nitrogen and ≤ 0.01 mass% carbon, when the diameter of a circle circumscribed to Ti based inclusions observed in a cross section of the maraging steel strip for the steel belt is defined as Dmax and the diameter of a circle inscribed to the inclusions is defined as Dmin, Dmax is ≤ 8 μm and the Ti based inclusion with the Dmax of 2-8 μm has a ratio of Dmin/Dmax of ≥ 0.75.
