Abstract:

To reduce resonance phenomenon in a drive line in which an elastic coupling is used in the coupling of a marine engine with a propeller.

A speed command from a steering device 12 and an actual revolving speed of the engine 4 are input into a governor controller 2, while the governor controller 2 calculates the amount of fuel to be supplied to the engine 4 from the speed command and the actual revolving speed. The revolution number nearer to a propeller 6 side than the elastic coupling 10 that couples the engine 4 and the propeller 6 is input into the governor controller 2 as a revolution number of a driving side, thus, based on the speed command, the actual number of revolution and the number of revolution on drive side, the effect of the resonance phenomenon is reduced while the amount of supply of fuel is calculated.
