Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent seizure of a friction plate in a clutch when trolling.SOLUTION: A marine gear device 8 includes: a forward/reverse selecting mechanism 16 for transmitting rotational power of an engine 7 loaded on a vessel to a propeller 5; and a trolling device 25 for adjusting hydraulic fluid pressure flowing to the forward/reverse selecting mechanism 16. Furthermore, the marine gear 8 includes: lubrication paths 42, 43 and 44 for lubricating the forward/reverse selecting mechanism 16 which are branched from a hydraulic fluid passage 24 from a hydraulic pump 21 to the forward/reverse selecting mechanism 16 through the trolling device 25; and a lubrication quantity increasing mechanism 100 for increasing lubrication oil quantity to the forward/reverse selecting mechanism 16 when the hydraulic fluid pressure flowing to the forward/reverse selecting mechanism 16 is equal to or below the trolling hydraulic pressure.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
