Abstract:
To provide a marine gear device which inhibits vibration and noise of clutches at the time of trolling.SOLUTION: A marine gear device 8 comprises a forward and backward switching mechanism 17 having a forward clutch and a backward clutch 15 which transmits rotational power of an engine 7 installed in a ship 1 to a propeller 5, and a trolling device 25 which adjusts hydraulic fluid pressure toward the forward and backward switching mechanism 17. The marine gear device 8 is composed in a forward two speed type that forward power of the forward and backward switching mechanism 17 switches standard speed and large deceleration, and comprises a standard speed side clutch 14 and a large deceleration side clutch 16 as forward clutches, and is composed so that both of the standard speed side clutch 14 and the large deceleration side clutch 16 do slip coupling at the time of trolling.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 8
