Abstract:
To provide a rudder for vessel capable of not only recovering swirling flow of a propeller but reducing oscillation of a vessel, and also to provide a vessel.SOLUTION: A rudder for vessel 1 includes a starboard side fin 20A and a port side fin 20B capable of rotating around support shafts 26A, 26B respectively extending in the horizontal direction on the starboard side and the port side of a rudder body 10, and control means for controlling respective rotation angles θ of the starboard side fin 20A and the port side fin 20B based on information indicating motion state of the vessel, the rudder for vessel being capable of reducing pitching motion, heaving motion, rolling motion, etc., of the vessel by controlling respective rotational angles θ of the starboard side fin 20A and the port side fin 20B according to motion state of the vessel.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
