To provide a mariner type high-lift two-rudder device capable of preventing the generation of cavitation.
A pair of left and right rudder blades 2, 3 is arranged behind a propulsion propeller 1, and a pair of left and right horns 5, 6 is provided from a stern hull toward the respective rudder blades 2, 3. Portions of rudder shafts 7, 8 at apex parts of the rudder blades 2, 3 and a pintle provided between both upper and lower ends of the rudder blades 2, 3 are supported in a radial direction by the horns 5, 6, and rear ends of the horns 5, 6 have notch parts 5d, 6d not interfering to the rudder blades 2, 3 rotated to the maximum steering angle. Shielding plates 17, 18 covering a recession 20 formed by the notch parts 5d, 6d are provided on side surfaces of the rear ends of the horns 5, 6, are made of an elastic material, and are provided such that a clearance between the side surfaces of the rear ends of the horns 5, 6 and side surfaces of front ends of the rudder blades 2, 3 becomes a continuous outer surface.
