Abstract:
To identify a factor for efficiently distinguish adult hematopoietic stem cells.
The problem is solved by finding that endomucin itself unpredictably has a marker function of efficiently distinguishing adult hematopoietic stem cells from fetal hematopoietic stem cells. Consequently, a composition for detecting adult hematopoietic stem cells comprises a factor specific to a nucleic acid molecule containing a nucleic acid sequence encoding endomucin or its part is obtained.
