To provide a marker lamp lighting device capable of compulsorily lighting off a maker lamp when normal lighting of the marker lamp cannot be controlled.
By a blocking action of blocking means 33, supply of a lighting power source to a marker lamp 12 from a lighting power supply circuit 21 is blocked. By a block canceling action of the blocking means 33, the lighting power source can be supplied to the marker lamp 12 from the lighting power supply circuit 21. An operation control circuit 19 controls the blocking means 33 to switch between the blocking action and the block canceling action. A control part 29 monitors an action of a lighting control circuit 30, and actuates the blocking means 33 to block the supply by the operation control circuit 19, when abnormality of the lighting control circuit 30 is determined.
