PURPOSE: To obtain a marker pile which can be driven easily but can not be drawn out easily and the original position can be confirmed easily even if the pile is missed or shifted.

CONSTITUTION: The marker pile 1 comprises a rod-like head part 2, a rod-like burying part 3 under the head part 2, and a pointed forward end part 4. The burying part 3 is provided, on the outer circumferential surface thereof, with a plurality of recesses 31, 31 having inclining surface tapered downward and the forward end part 4 is fitted loosely to the burying part 3.
