PURPOSE: To obtain a marking composition and a marking sheet material useful for marking letters and lines especially on a road, a floor, etc., excellent in weather resistance and flexibility, being readily executed without requiring heating.

CONSTITUTION: This marking composition comprises an acrylic compound, a urethane-based compound soluble in the acrylic compound and a paraffin and/or a wax and is cured with a curing agent. The marking sheet material comprises a sheetlike material 1 formed by curing the marking composition. The sheet material S is preferably obtained by sticking glass beads 2 to the obverse surface of the sheetlike material 1 and a reinforcing sheet 3 to the reverse surface. Since the acrylic compound is mixed with the urethane-based compound, the sheet material is excellent in weather resistance by the acrylic compound and in flexibility by the urethane-based compound.
