Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a highly discriminable marking on fabricated parts of a sheet material for clothing.SOLUTION: A marking device 11 for a sheet material provides a marking 10a on a sheet material S, which is sucked and held on a table 3. The marking device comprises: vertically movable punching means 40, which punches the sheet material S; a storage member 41, which stores a powder P and has an opening 41a at a lower part for discharging the powder P; and a movable frame 45, which is horizontally movable relative to the storage member 41 under the storage member 41 and has a storage hole 45a punched at a position facing the opening 41a of the storage member 41. The powder P in the storage hole 45a is pulled into a hole 63 on the sheet material S by a suction force of the table 3 and made to adhere to a circumference of a punched part on the sheet material S by punching the sheet material S by the punching means 40 and subsequently moving the movable frame 45 so that the storage hole 45a is positioned on the punched part of the sheet material S.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 8
