To provide a mass measuring apparatus capable of switching a measuring method in accordance with a moving state (including still state) of an item during a mass measurement.
A mass measuring apparatus 100 includes a first mass measuring part, a second mass measuring part, and a control part 40. The first mass measuring part holds an item Q and measures its mass. The second mass measuring part measures the mass of the item Q in a different manner from the first mass measuring part in a state of leaving the first mass measuring part holding the item Q. The control part 40 prioritizes the mass measurement in the second mass measuring part when a predetermined condition is satisfied. The mass measuring apparatus 100 is capable of measuring the mass in two manners without changing the hold of the item Q, thereby achieving precise mass measurement in accordance with a production state and eliminating waste of labor time.
