To provide a massage assembly reduced in weight and size and simplified in constitution by converting the reciprocation of a massage unit into a motion of a medical treatment finger to perform the operation of the massage unit and the motion of the medical treatment finger with one motor, and a massage machine mounted with it.

In this massage assembly, the massage unit including medical treatment fingers for applying wringing and/or tapping massage to a person to be treated is reciprocated between a pair of frames. The massage unit is provided with a motion converting mechanism for converting the reciprocation of the massage unit to the wringing and/or tapping operation of the treatment fingers. In this massage machine, the massage assembly is installed on a backrest of a chair or a bed.
