To provide a massage unit which sufficiently obtains strength with respect to the stress of a bottom air bag and is enhanced in assembling properties, and a massage machine equipped with it.
The massage unit is equipped with a massage case (81) having a recessed receiving part (82) for housing toes, the bottom air bag (84) arranged to the back side of the massage case and applying massage by expansion and contraction, an air bag receiver (102) for receiving the bottom air bag and a metal frame structure (100) for constituting the skeleton of the massage case. The end parts of the air bag receiver (102) and the massage case (81) are together clamped to the frame structure (100) by screws (101) and a temporary lock means comprising pawls (103) and hooking holes (104) both of which temporarily lock the air bag receiver with the massage case is provided to the air bag receiver (102) and the massage case (81).
