Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a massager to vary the massaging and tapping speed and give variable effective massage of massaging/rolling or that of tapping/ rolling.
SOLUTION: A massager is provided in a massage unit 28 disposed in the back rest part 14 of a chair 12 with a pair of treatment fingers 71, 71 and a reciprocating means to reciprocating the treatment fingers for massage and/or tapping. A massage unit 28 is vertically moved along the longitudinal direction of the back rest part 14 and connected with a lift means to enable the rolling massage. The reciprocating means and lift means are connected to a control means to be controllably driven. The control means drives simultaneously the reciprocating means and the lift means to perform the massage of massaging/ rolling and/or that of tapping/rolling. The control means varies the massaging or tapping speed by the reciprocating means without varying the rolling speed by the lift means.
