The massaging machine has a pair of the treatment members performing at least a patting action and moving up and down. A width adjustment device that can change a space between the treatment members by driving a motor, is provided. Position detectors 31 and 32 detecting positions of the treatment members while the treatment members move up and down are provided. The width adjustment device reduces the space of the treatment members when the movement of the treatment members from a high position to a low position is detected. The width adjustment device increases the space between the treatment members when the movement of the treatment members from the low position to the high position is detected.
