Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mast spacer which can avoid complication of assembly work and satisfactorily inhibit wear of an end face or protrusion parts without significantly changing a support structure of a main shaft.SOLUTION: A mast spacer 20A is provided in a main shaft of a helicopter between a mast bearing and a mast nut, and has a cylindrical spacer body 21. One end of the mast spacer 20A is formed as a bearing contact part 22 which contacts in a fittable manner to an inner ring of the mast bearing, and for instance, bearing side protrusion parts 23 are provided for fitting in recesses mounted in the inner ring of the mast bearing. The spacer body 21 is provided with slit parts (for instance, spiral slit parts 24) which penetrate the side wall of the spacer body. The slit parts are formed in a linear shape crossing the cylinder axis direction of the spacer body 21.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
