Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a master cylinder in which a return spring and a piston can be appropriately assembled in a cylinder chamber with one end closed and the other end released.SOLUTION: A master cylinder comprises: a body 10 provided with a cylinder chamber 11 having one end closed and the other end released therein; a return spring 40 inserted into the closed end side in the cylinder chamber 11; a piston 30 inserted into the released end side in the cylinder chamber 11 so as to be always biased by the return spring 40; and a cup 36 fitted to the end part of the piston 30 facing the return spring 40. A cup pressor 50 is fitted to a fixing part 38 formed at a side part of the cup 36 of the piston 30 facing the return spring 40, the cup pressor 50 is provided with a pressing part 51 for pressing the cup 36 at the end part of the released end side, and a winding part 52 around which a winding fastening part 43 formed at the end of the released end side of the return spring 40 is wound is formed at the end part of the closed end side.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
