In an embodiment, based on a maintenance target master predesignated on a master maintenance screen previously displayed on a monitor when an instruction of new registration is received, and based on the maintenance target master and maintenance target data in the master predesignated on the master maintenance screen when an instruction of modification or deletion is received, processing specified by a character string of a processing category corresponding to the instruction is executed, it is confirmed whether to permit the instruction based on the execution result, and when the confirmation result indicates permission of new registration, modification, or deletion, the master maintenance screen displayed on the monitor is shifted to a master maintenance screen for new registration, modification, or deletion.
