Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a master paper roll supporting device for a plate making machine capable of facilitating the handling of a master paper roll which is comparatively heavy and loading the master paper roll inside a vessel at once.
SOLUTION: This master paper roll supporting device for a plate making machine where the master paper roll A wound round a bobbin (a) is suspended is equipped with a pair of supporting bases 24A and 24B which are positioned in an opposed state on a slender supporting frame 22 in the width direction of the roll A and at least either of which is positionally adjusted with respect to the frame 22, rotating disks 31A and 31B rotatably supported by suspending shafts 30A and 30B provided opposite to the supporting bases 24A and 24B and having an edge regulating plate 31a regulating the edge position of the roll A by coming into contact with the end face of the roll A, and frictional disks 34A and 34B fixed at the opposite ends of the respective shafts 30A and 30B in a state where they are adjacent to the disks 31A and 31B and frictionally brought into contact with the inner surface of the bobbin (a) when they are positioned inside the bobbin (a).
