To obtain a molded article of a polypropylene-based resin, which is free from the deterioration of mechanical properties and is excellent in appearance free from white streaks and irregularity in color.

This masterbatch for a polypropylene-based resin contains a polyolefin-based resin (A), a polyolefin-based wax (B), a titanium dioxide pigment (C) obtained by the surface treatment of 100 pts.wt. of titanium dioxide with an inorganic treating agent comprising 0.3-10.0 pts.wt. of alumina and 0.2-10.0 pts.wt. of silica, and 0.1-1.0 pt.wt. of a polyol-based organic treating agent, at least one black pigment (D) selected from carbon black and an iron black pigment, and other multi-component pigment (E). The molded article is obtained by using the masterbatch. A technique for controlling the occurrence of white streaks and irregularity in color on a molded article of a polypropylene-based resin is involved.
