Abstract:
To provide an aqueous mat coating-material composition which can be coated on a substrate in one process thereby to give a coated film having a mat surface and excellent stain resistance and whitening resistance and also which can bestow water absorption resistance on the substrate.
A composition comprises an alkoxysilyl group-containing copolymer; a hydrolyzable silane compound of a compound expressed by the formula: RnSi(R')4-n (wherein, n is an integer of 1 or 2; R is a stable hydrophobic group; and R' is a hydrolyzable group) and/or of an oligomer of the compound; and an aqueous dispersion of powdery silica particulates.
