Abstract:

PURPOSE: To provide a mat hardly causing slipping movement during employing even though the rear side of the mat is constituted of a nonwoven fabric.
CONSTITUTION: A specimen nonwoven fabric of 10cm×10cm is put on a mirror- finished plate glass, placed on a horizontal surface, then, a steel sheet, having the size of 45mm×45mm and weight of 35g, is put on the central part of the specimen and a weight of 100g is applied on the steel sheet while a string is fixed to the end of the specimen to pull the string into the extending direction of the glass surface slowly by a hand type spring balance. The high frictional nonwoven fabric 1, having a tensing, measured by the spring balance upon starting the movement of the specimen, is higher than 70g, is connected to the rear side of various mats or a carpet 2.
