To provide a mat for livestock, containing an antibacterial composition, exhibiting the antibacterial activity efficiently by exhibiting the antibacterial activity to the many kinds of microorganisms and without having bad effects to human bodies/livestock and environment.

This antibacterial composition consisting of 2 kinds selected only from imidazole-based organic antibacterial agents and an inorganic antibacterial agent is provided. 2-(4-thiazolyl)-1H-benzoimidazole and 2-benzoimidazole methyl carbamate is usable as the organic antibacterial agents, and a silver-loaded zirconium phosphate or zinc oxide is usable as the inorganic antibacterial agent. The antibacterial composition is kneaded with a rubber and molded as a sheet form. By the antibacterial effects of the 2 kinds of imidazole-based organic antibacterial agents themselves and inorganic antibacterial agent itself, and a synergistic effect by the simultaneous use of them, the sheet shows a markedly wide antibacterial spectrum even by having a low MIC (minimum inhibitory concentration) value and can provide a good floor environment of the livestock.
