To enable a tender to easily transfer a patient lying on a cylindrical sheet to a desired position, by laying and pressing a patient on the upper face of a cylindrical mat main body covered by a slippery inside cover cloth and constituting the cylindrical mat main body to enable a patient to be transferred by rotating the cylindrical mat main body.

A stretcher is placed beside a bed 9, and the body of a patient 8 is slightly raised laterally facing the back toward a stretcher 11 and a cylindrical mat body 1 is placed on the upper face of a bed 9. Next, the laterally facing patient 8 is laid upward facing on the bed and the body is laid on one side of the upper face of the cylindrical mat main body 1. Next, a tender puts his/her hands to the body of the patient 8 and presses, then force is efficiently transmitted to the patient 8 to enable to advance straight. Since inside cover cloth is highly slippery, friction resistance between parts mutually in contact is widely reduced to be easily slipped by slight pressing force and the patient 8 can be easily slid and transferred in a condition laid on the inside cover cloth.
