Abstract:
PURPOSE: To obtain a compact device capable of certainly supplying dust control mats having various dimensions to a washing apparatus or line one by one at a time in a flatly developed state.
CONSTITUTION: The mat supply device is provided with a feed conveyor 2, a downwardly turned negative pressure pad 4 and the clamper 5 directed toward the upstream part of a mat feed passage. The negative pressure pad 4 is formed in a freely liftable manner on the upstream side of the feed conveyor 2 and the clamper 5 is reciprocally moved between the position adjacent on the downstream side of the negative pressure pad 4 and the position on the feed conveyor 2. The moving stroke of the clamper 5 can be made less than the max. length of a supplied mat. The negative pressure pad 4 sucks and raises the rear surface of the front edge of the mat stacked so that the rear surface thereof is turned upwardly and the clamper 5 grasps the front edge of the raised mat to transfer the mat to the feed conveyor 2 and is opened to allow the mat to fall on the feed conveyor 2 and, next, the mat is fed by the feed conveyor 2. By equipping an angle adjusting device to the supply head supporting the clamper 5, the oblique running of the mat can be prevented.
