To appropriately perform matching between users.SOLUTION: A matching system including: a matching candidate selection unit that selects, as each matching candidate, each one or more combinations of a car requester and a cargo requester from a plurality of car requesters and a plurality of cargo requesters based on car request information of each of the plurality of car requesters, cargo request information of each of the plurality of cargo requesters, and a first rule; a processing execution unit that executes predetermined processing required for negotiation for each matching candidate; a preference information acquisition unit that acquires preference information of part or entire of the car requesters and the cargo requesters of the matching candidates that have been input since start of the negotiation; and a matching unit that determines, as matching results based on the preference information and a second rule, the respective one or more combination of the car requester and the cargo requester from the plurality of car requesters and the plurality of cargo requesters.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
