Title:
MATERIAL FOR ACTIVATING PROLIFERATION OF EPIDERMAL CELL
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPH11253155
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

To obtain a material for activating proliferation of an epidermal cell, capable of allowing the epidermal cell to efficiently attach and proliferate on the surface of a base plate, and excellent in mutual adhesion of cells by constituting the material consisting essentially of α-type silk fibroin or a silk fibroin showing α-helix X-ray diffraction pattern.

This material for activating proliferation of an epidermal cell comprises a material consisting essentially of α-type silk fibroin or a silk fibroin showing α-helix X-ray diffraction pattern, and preferably obtained by further adding ≤50 wt.% synthetic polyamino acid having crystal form of the α-helix to the before material. Preferably, the material for activating the proliferation of the epidermal cell has a shape of a fiber, a membrane or a powder, and a culturing bed of the epidermal cell and a vulnerary covering material are prepared from the material.
